Australians in the Vietnam War CD-ROM of educational Interactives

Program Operating Instructions
There are four interactive learning modules on this CD-ROM. Simply use the main menu to select the programs and explore them.

Search a Village
One of the main tasks of the Australian and New Zealand soldiers (ANZACs) in Vietnam was to search villages. See if you can carry out a village cordon and search, and make the right decisions to ensure the area safe for both the villagers and yourselves.

A Soldier's Story
Try to piece together the story of one man's experience as a National Service conscript in Vietnam by examining documents and photographs that he kept over the years. You will be able to compare your conclusions with the answers he provides in a video interview.

Exploring the Vietnam Experience
Find out what the Vietnam experience was like for servicemen and women and their families by listening to interviews. You can then compile your own fact sheet to help you to interview a veteran in your local community.

Vietnam War Home Front
Australia was involved in the Vietnam War between 1962 and 1972. Imagine that you are an average Australian living at that time. How would you react to such issues as conscription, peace marches or a visit by the American president? make your own decisions and then see how the majority of Australians reacted.

The menu bar to the top right contains main navigation options including help for each main area.

This program was developed in Macromedia Flash 8.
