The Defence 2020 Youth Challenge Series has been a great success and there are only 4 programs to go. So this is your last chance to register for the Northern Territory and Western Australia challenges.

The program’s theme is – Is the Australian Defence Force a Responsible Citizen?

To date Challenges have been held in Albury-Wodonga, Adelaide, Port Pirie, Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Launceston, Hobart, Melbourne, Townsville and Brisbane.

Almost 90% of approximately 900 participants (students, teachers and ADF personnel) have adjudged the program Excellent or Very Good!

“On the way home on the train the students told me that they had a great time. They thought it was a good mix of serious issues and a lot of fun, especially the role plays, which allowed them to express themselves. It also made them more aware of the issues that the Defence Force faces – so they really did come out of it with a greater sense of their civics and citizenship role in our society. Well done!”
